Plan your trip
Welcome to Cali, the vibrant host city of the 2025 CPSG Annual Meeting! Nestled in the southwest of Colombia, Cali is the country’s third-largest city, home to approximately 2.4 million people. With its warm climate, welcoming atmosphere, and a dynamic blend of tradition and modernity, Cali promises an unforgettable experience for all visitors.
Visas
Visitors from many countries, including the United States, Canada, the European Union, and most Latin American nations, do not require a visa for stays of up to 90 days. However, it is essential to check specific requirements based on your nationality with the nearest Colombian consulate. For some nationalities who require a visa, an e-visa option is available. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date.

The airport serves multiple direct international routes from cities in Europe, North and South America, as well as domestic connections from major Colombian Cities.
Transportation & getting from the airport
Official airport taxis are available outside the arrivals terminal, with a fixed fare to central Cali. Rideshare services like Uber and DiDi also operate in the area.
Safety recommendations:
Cali is a welcoming and lively city, but as with any major urban center, visitors should take common-sense precautions:
- Use official taxis or rideshare apps rather than hailing taxis on the street.
- Avoid displaying valuable items, particularly in crowded areas.
- Stick to well-traveled areas, especially at night.
